This fall the SZBA Priests with Disabilities affinity group will be hosting a two-part workshop series on Sundays, October 15th and 29th

In the first workshop, we will explore the complexities of disability, trauma and neurodiversity and how they may show up in Zen practice.  In the second workshop, we will explore what aspects of training are essential, how different lineages approach these questions, how to honor the needs of each individual, and whether or not disabilities and priest training are compatible.

Although we hope everyone will be able to attend both workshops, each workshop may also be taken separately. We will offer teachings, small group discussions and opportunities to reflect and share wisdom.

All are welcome.

Registration information:
The SZBA relies on the generosity of its donors to support its mission and programs like these. We suggest a donation of $35 per workshop ($70 if you plan to attend both events) and deeply appreciate any amount you are able to give. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.

We welcome anyone interested in this series to register, and especially members of Soto Zen sanghas. You will receive Zoom information once you register and closed captioning will be available.

Please contact Anna (Operations Manager) at info@szba.org with any questions, concerns or access needs.
