SZBA Focus Group: Group 1

As part of its ongoing effort to understand how systemic inequality impacts the practice of Zen, and to further the right use of power, the SZBA will be holding 3 focus groups in August to hear about members' experiences with patriarchy and sexism. Each focus group will run for 90 minutes and will be moderated. Ideas will be collected, and all information will be anonymous and will be used only to help inform SZBA leadership. If you cannot make the meeting but would like to offer feedback, please send information or stories to info@szba.org. These sessions will not be recorded.

Important information: 

• Because patriarchy impacts people differently depending on their gender, we will be holding several meeting group options based on gender identity. 
• This focus group (Group 1) is for those who identify as women and non-binary, genderqueer and transgender people who would feel most comfortable in such a group.
  
• If you identify as a man, non-binary, genderqueer or transgender and would feel most comfortable in such a group, you can register for that focus group here.
