This program has been designed for practice leaders and priests (SZBA members and friends). However, it is open to anyone who would like to attend. Registrants should commit to all 3 sessions, as the material builds upon itself.

About the Instructor:

Ryushin Hart is a Soto Zen priest and clinical social worker living in Corvallis, Oregon. Ryushin holds a Masters of Social Work from Boston University and he developed the addiction treatment model for Benton County’s Drug Treatment Court program. As a clinical social worker he specializes in addiction, shame resilience, and trauma. In addition to the Soto Zen influence, his teaching draws inspiration from the Pali Canon, indigenous teachings, intersectional feminism, and poetry. His teachings balance spiritual and psychological growth. And, since growth, challenges, and vows are endless, Ryushin encourages and cultivates self-care, play, and rest.
